PLOT : A CIA agent Evelyn Salt goes on run to find out the truth after she is being accused by a defector of being a Russian spy.

REVIEW : Well seriously don't hope for some realistic things happening around on regard that it touches the political side. This is just another action packed thriller. I cant really comment on the plot as it do have holes and the direction as well is not great. But still its an entertaining thriller packed with some mindless action as usual in Jolie's flicks. Its not boring at all and is filled with surprises. There are lots of twists and so its not predictable which is a plus point for Salt. Frankly don't start connecting dots and criticizing on the images portrayed of Russia as its just a fiction meant solely for the purpose of entertainment. Angelina Jolie is stunning as usual and if you're a fan, you don't wanna miss this one. Overall Salt is a good package of action.

Paranormal Activity 2

GENRE : Horror | Thriller

PLOT : A family moves to new house and experience break-ins and setup cameras over whole house. But they find that its not that simple what it seem.

REVIEW : If you have watched the first installment before watching this one its good as this one is clearly a prequel to the prior one. Its about Katie's sister and her family. The plot is similar to earlier only and nothing much has changed. But I was quite surprised this time and I actually felt that this one is better than the first. Things start happening quite early and so it keeps you on edge since starting. Some scenes are good enough to make you jump. Its quite possible that may be I had least expectations this time but also this one has been implanted with more sudden scenes than prior one. The story is linked nicely and I liked the climax as well. But still they need to improve a lot. This one is not that boring and can easily be watched. I would consider this one as good.

Paranormal Activity

GENRE : Horror | Thriller

PLOT : A young couple moves into a new house which is found to be haunted by a demon.

REVIEW : Well after such an hype the movie has done well overall also after the incorporated sum is very low. If you ask me, don't go with the hype and don't expect anything different. The one different thing is the treatment like a cam movie making it more close to real stuff but its not. Now coming to movie. I seriously didn't find it anywhere near good. More than half of the movie is very boring. I am still amazed how it has been rated so good and how people are so scared after watching it. There are far better cam movies than this like REC. There are three different endings and I will suggest you go with the theatrical version as it has a better climax. The movie offers nothing new. It lacks majorly in script and direction. Its not scary trust me. Moreover you might get frustrated and bored till the last 15 min. Would not recommend it.

The Karate Kid

GENRE : Action | Drama

PLOT : Story of a 12 year boy Dre who moves to China with his mother due to her transfer who is bullied by a bunch of guys in school and hence decides to learn Kung-Fu.

REVIEW : Well I haven't seen the earlier version so this was new for me. It's always a pleasure to watch Jackie Chan although you can hardly see him in action in this movie as the lead character is Jaden Smith as Dre. Concept of the movie is not new as its already a remake but the direction is just average. Script is also lacking somewhere and the movie is a bit lengthy too. Still it connects fairly on emotional level. Some good dialogs are incorporated. The meaning of Kung-Fu is correctly portrayed in the movie. Its unfair to judge Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith has done a good act. The movie on whole is enjoyable. Its not bad and its not great, so definitely it can be watched once.

Delhi Belly

GENRE : Comedy | Crime

PLOT : Tashi, Arup and Nitin are roommates. The story revolves around these three regular blokes, living the regular life least informed how there life is about to turn upside down.

REVIEW : One suggestion before anything; Do Not Watch This Movie With Family . The movie is a tightly knit 94 min laugh riot package. The plot is original and the movie shows significantly the truth of normal lives under those circumstances. Its a big thumbs up for Bollywood Cinema as its an initiation to slapstick comedies we have seen in movies like Hangover where the goofs are played along few lives. Its filled with slang and for the first time dropping of so many F-Bombs in a Bollywood movie. Imran has done a nice job and the trio protagonists are efficient in delivering the originality as demanded by the script. There are numerous hilarious  punches and funny situation. You wont really stop laughing at all till the end. The music is also awesome. Overall this is a total fun package which is a must watch with bunch of your friends. Loved it.

Juno

GENRE : Romance | Drama | Comedy

PLOT : A story of a teenager who meets an unplanned pregnancy and taken an unusual decision regarding her unborn child.

REVIEW : An unusual topic taken as the main plot of the movie. Yes it delivers much to the expectations. The whole script is very unusual and carried out well. Ellen Page as Juno makes the offbeat movie survive with a brilliant act. She's witty, funny and fun to watch. There are some comical conversations which keeps the movie on lighter air throughout. Though the screenplay is adaptive to develop interest in the female viewers more, men must still find it likeable, a little less may be.  Its about emotions, friends, situations, parenthood and decision making. The movie never gets stretchy and is fun to watch.

Cars

GENRE : Animation | Adventure | Comedy

PLOT : A rookie hot-shot race-car named Lightning McQueen wants to win the Piston Cup but on the way to the final race gets waylaid in Radiator Springs, where there is something more for him to learn.

REVIEW : As its a pixar movie, you can't even comment on the animation which is again magnificent. But is that enough for a lay-man who's up for a movie experience? The story is dull and boring. Concept wise the movie is really strong but script is lacking. Movie is predictable and the story keeps stretching like elastic. There are some nice moments and some gimmicks to make you smile but where is the magic of Pixar like we had in earlier movies 'The Incredibles' and 'Finding Nemo' . The movie visually is very appealing and kids gonna surely love it. Even for grown ups its a nice ride but not a great one. Surely is one time watchable easily with family. But seriously Pixar needs to work up on scripts as well as this concept could have been led to excellence.
