Bunshinsaba - (Ouija Board)

PLOT : Yu-jin and her blind mother move to a small village from Seoul. On her first day at the new school, Yu-jin gets picked on by her classmates and puts curse on the four girls tormenting them through Ouija Board.

REVIEW : Well is there anything we haven't seen before? The answer is simple 'NO'. As the plot suggests, the whole movie revolves in the consequences. As any other Asian movie you'll find the same girl with long hair coming over and over on the screen to frighten you with some acoustic bass and creepy sounds. Here the problem is that it repeats again and again with very low scare scale. The story is pretty simple and there's nothing much to expect. Still it manages to keep us awake with the screenplay. They should have modified the story and presented with some surprises as the basic idea of horror i.e. the woman with long hair fails here. The atmosphere which builds is definitely creepy to some extent but not up to the mark. The theme is also the old lame revenge of ghost type which makes it just an average movie who might be able to frighten amateurs.

PLOT : Misha Barton as Sam travels to a remote country after being graduated to supervise the demolition of a building which has some horrifying past hidden.

REVIEW : Horror? Are you kidding me. There's no such element of horror. The first few minutes were good and the opening especially but soon I found the plot swinging around some bad direction. Misha is not well in her act but yeah for fans there is a topless shot. It can be suggested that the plot got strangled with a low budget and poor direction. I came to know later that it is derived of a book so it makes things pretty clear. Its common that directors are not able to present a book properly in short running time of a feature film. The same could have happened to it as well. There are many loose ends in the movie. Its average as a thriller but not appropriate for horror genre. No big surprises as well after you know the name of the movie. So overall its not worthy to that extent which was expected after the start.

GENRE : Mystery | Thriller | Sci-Fi

PLOT : John Murdoch wakes up only to find that he's been guilty of a series of murders who is chased by the police as well as bizarre murderers.

REVIEW : The moment movie started, it was clear that its gonna be one of the twisted concept and so it is. It might make you remember the Matrix series as the concept is kind off same. Now I don't know how to review it as if I talk bout any content it might prove as a spoiler. Anyways the movie is packed tightly and never bores. It will keep you guessing and that's the nature of the plot. Ya during the last half an hour you might feel like things are going too much illogical and that's where it bends down a level. Also I feel that it don't enjoy the budget of Matrix and so its comparatively not as much visually stunning. The movie on the other note is very good but it certainly could have gone higher with better script. A must watch though and all you sci-fi fans gonna love it.

The Host - (Gwoemul)

GENRE : Horror | Comedy | Drama

PLOT : Due to some biological chemical release in a river, a monster evolves which is said to be the host of viruses.

REVIEW : So the moment movie started it felt like this is gonna be a huge. First few minutes of the movie are very engaging with the emergence of the monster which is marvelously created in cg. The situation becomes tense till then. But there is a major change after that. They lost the plot completely engaging comedy worthlessly and endlessly. It becomes boring in middle with stretched out comic scenes in which you won't feel like laughing as its completely foolish. The movie grips again towards the end when we are able to witness the monster again. But the climax is poor. Overall I felt that it could have been much better if they have edited it short making it more packed. The cg monster takes up the movie on its own. Great effort on that. Moreover its not in English so its up-to you if you wanna watch this one. For me its good not bad.

1st part:-The Story is about a honest Police Officer,Bajirav Singham and instances of his good services which he offeres to the citizens of Shivgad which makes him win thier love,support and respect. During this time he finds his love in the same village,Kavya. And in the latter part,he comes across the biggest powerfull person of Goa and the villian-Jaykant Shikhare who does his tranfer as a retaliation of what had been done to him in Shivgad.
After interval-Singham is upset as he has no support in this City of Goa,Where everyone is in the pockets of Jaykant,and he cannot stand the mental and the physical torture done to him by Jaykant and so he decides to resign and leave.But,Kavya,Supports him and backs him up to fight the injustice.Singham with his fellow officers and then the whole Police Department decides to beat him up.

*Overall,Rohit Shetty has turned this very simple story interesting and fun to watch with loads of Funny Action Stunts.The love story wasn't really necessary.Its a typically Paisa-Vassol Movie.

GENRE : Drama | Mystery | Sci-Fi

PLOT : Hector has moved to a new house with his wife. On seeing a naked girl in woods, he follows her to be attacked by a bandaged man with scissor.

REVIEW : The theme of the plot is time travel and don't worry that's not a spoiler. Indeed the movie is very confusing so you need to watch it with concentration. Not many things are happening but the concept itself is too vast that its not easy to understand. Moreover it also brings the script-holes which can't be filled in such a short duration. What's appreciating is the direction. Its a low budget thriller and that too in Spanish and I already told that the concept in confusing so you can realize that you need to watch it with patience and am sure that in the end you will find it worth. I can't write much as it will unfold the story also. On the whole its a good movie with good plot. As the story progresses it becomes thick and the mystery is good. But it could have been made a master-piece if was treated by good budget. They have done well in the low limits.
